Thermalization of many many-body interacting Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev models

چکیده

We investigate the nonequilibrium dynamics of complex Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev (SYK) models in $q\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\infty}$ limit, where $q/2$ denotes order random Dirac fermion interaction. extend previous results by Eberlein et al. [Phys. Rev. B 96, 205123 (2017)] to show that a single SYK Hamiltonian for $t\ensuremath{\ge}0$ is perfect thermalizer sense local Green's function instantaneously thermal. The only memories quantum state $t<0$ are its charge density and energy at $t=0$. Our result valid all states amenable $1/q$ expansion, which generated from an equilibrium asymptotic past acted upon arbitrary combination time-dependent Hamiltonians $t<0$. Importantly, this implies even manner.

Comments on the Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev model

We study a quantum mechanical model proposed by Sachdev, Ye and Kitaev. The model consists of N Majorana fermions with random interactions of a few fermions at a time. It it tractable in the large N limit, where the classical variable is a bilocal fermion bilinear. The model becomes strongly interacting at low energies where it develops an emergent conformal symmetry. We study two and four poin...

Radiative heat transfer: many-body effects

Heat transfer by electromagnetic radiation is one of the common methods of energy transfer between objects. Using the fluctuation-dissipation theorem, we have studied the effect of particle arrangement in the transmission of radiative heat in many-body systems. In order to show the effect of the structure morphology on the collective properties, the radiative heat transfer is studied and the re...

Typical fast thermalization processes in closed many-body systems.

The lack of knowledge about the detailed many-particle motion on the microscopic scale is a key issue in any theoretical description of a macroscopic experiment. For systems at or close to thermal equilibrium, statistical mechanics provides a very successful general framework to cope with this problem. However, far from equilibrium, only very few quantitative and comparably universal results ar...

Thermalization in Many-Particle Quantum Walks

We present many-particle quantum walks on graphs. This study brings together the concepts of many-particles, multimode and indistinguishability to discrete quantum walks. Our scheme is independent of the topology of the graphs: linear, planar or spatial. We use the concepts of position field operators, adjacency matrix and the results of group theory to construct many particle systems on graphs...
